ROLLS

SPICY ITALIAN CRESCENT RING
2 cans (8 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
1/2 cup well drained roasted red bell peppers (from a jar)
8 slices provolone cheese, halved
1/3 lb deli sliced hot salami
1/4 lb deli sliced ham
1/4 lb deli sliced capocollo
1/2 cup well drained hot pepper rings (from a jar)
1 Heat oven to 375°F.
2 Unroll both cans of dough; separate into 8 rectangles. On ungreased 12-inch pizza pan, arrange rectangles in ring so short sides of rectangles form a circle in center. (Dough will overlap; half of each rectangle will hang over edge of pan. Dough ring should resemble a sun.)
3 Spread roasted red bell peppers towards center of ring on bottom halves of rectangles. Top with half of the cheese. Layer salami, ham and capocollo slices over cheese. Arrange pepper rings over top. Cover with remaining half of cheese.
4 Bring each dough rectangle hanging over side of pan up over stacked filling, tucking dough under bottom layer of dough to secure it. Repeat around sandwich until entire filling is enclosed (some filling might show a little but that is okay.) Sprinkle with black pepper.
5 Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until dough is golden brown and thoroughly baked. Remove from oven; cool 5 to 10 minutes before cutting into serving slices.
To drain the roasted red bell peppers thoroughly, use a fine mesh strainer, then set on a few paper towels to absorb any extra moisture.
*If you don’t like it spicy, switch out the deli meats for a milder flavor, and swap in some ripe olives instead of the hot pepper rings.
QUICK CINNAMON ROLLS - NO YEAST
Dough
2 cups flour
2 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup milk
Filling
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup brown sugar or 1 cup white sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon
Glaze
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup milk
Directions:
For the filling, in a small bowl combine softened butter, brown sugar and cinnamon to form a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle 1/2 of the mixture over the bottom of a 9x9 pan.  In a large bowl mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in softened butter (sometimes your hands are the best tools). Stir in milk to form a soft dough. Roll out dough on a lightly floured into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Spread the remaining filling on the rolled out dough. Roll up the rectangle, with a sharp knife slice into 18 small rolls (12 if you want them a little bigger). Bake for 20-25 min at 400°F.  For glaze, combine powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl and stir until smooth.  Once rolls are finished, drizzle on glaze and serve warm.

TEXAS ROADHOUSE ROLLS - "YES" THE REAL RECIPE ~
4 tsp. active dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2 c. milk, scalded and cooled to lukewarm
3 Tbs. of melted butter, slightly cooled
1/2 c. sugar
2 quarts all purpose flour (7-8 cups)
2 whole eggs
2 tsp. salt
Dissolve yeast in warm water with a teaspoon of sugar; let stand until frothy. Combine yeast mixture, milk, 1/2 cup sugar and enough flour to make a medium batter (about the consistency of pancake batter). Beat thoroughly. Add melted butter, eggs and salt. Beat well. Add enough flour to form a soft dough. Sprinkle a small amount of flour onto counter and let dough rest. Meanwhile, grease a large bowl. Knead dough until smooth and satiny and put in greased bowl; turn over to grease top. (I used the dough hook on my Kitchen-Aid to knead this for about 4-5 minutes). Cover and let rise in a warm place until double in bulk. Punch down. Turn out onto a floured board. Divide into portions for shaping; let rest 10 minutes. Shape dough into desired forms. Place on greased baking sheets. Let rise until doubled. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Baste immediately with butter. Yield: 5 to 6 dozen. Serve with Cinnamon Honey Butter. Extra Tips: Shape the rolls into a rectangle, about 1/2-inch thick, then fold it in half, making it an inch thick. Roll over the dough to seal the two halves and using a dough scraper, cut them into squares and place them on the baking sheet

PILLSBURY CRESCENT ROLLS, CREAM CHEESE, CINNAMON, SUGAR
2 cans pillsbury butter crescent rolls
2 (8oz) packages cream cheese (softened)
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup butter (melted)
Cinnamon & sugar (I used about 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tbs cinnamon)
Unroll and spread 1 can crescent rolls on bottom of un-greased pan. Combine softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Spread mixture over crescent rolls. Unroll and spread remaining crescent rolls over mixture. Spread melted butter over the top and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.

SWEET POTATO ROLLS
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
4 tablespoons white sugar
1-1/2 cups canned sweet potato puree
1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
3 tablespoons margarine, softened
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
Dissolve yeast, warm sweet potato water, and 1 tablespoon sugar in a mixing bowl. Let stand 5 minutes. Add remaining sugar, sweet potato, butter or margarine, salt, and slightly beaten eggs. Stir to mix well. Stir in 3 cups of flour. Turn out on a lightly floured surface. Knead 2 to 3 minutes, adding just enough of remaining flour to prevent sticking. Do not knead too heavily; when smooth, shape into a ball. Place in an oiled bowl, and turn to coat the surface. Cover, and let raise about 1 hour or longer. Punch down, and allow dough to rest for 2 minutes. Divide into 16 to 20 balls, and place on a greased cookie sheet or in a 9 X 13 inch pan. Allow to rise until doubled. Bake at 375 degrees F for 12 to 20 minutes. Serve warm.
